What can you expect from us?

Startups en organisations

The organisation of the future is an ecosystem. It relies on innovations from specialists outside the organisation and perhaps even from outside the country's borders. Startups, innovative companies and scientists all contribute to your innovation. You will receive proposals from startups, innovative organisations and universities that you can learn from and partner with.

Case studies and experiments

We also analyse case studies of and experiments by organisations. These provide insight into how one deals with innovation, new technology, a recession or the impact of the current crisis. We can learn from the successes and failures of others. This lowers unnecessary costs and results in a higher change rate.

Scientists, specialists, trendwatchers, futurists and leaders from all over the world share their forecasts and analyses about the future. We list them for you and provide explanations and context, transforming the information into insights that offer direction and guidance.

Analyses and forecasts

You will receive a periodic overview of digital innovations and business models in your sector that might be of interest, but we also look at other industries. Digital business models provide guidance during a crisis or recession. In addition, organisations without a digital business model have no right of existence in the future.

Business models and innovation

We analyse many trends within your sector or area of expertise. We study developments in finance- and insurance-related artificial intelligence, the future of payments, cybersecurity and many other trends. These insights enable you to make the right decisions and help you enter into valuable partnerships.

Trends with impact

We gather, analyse and interpret current (inter)national statistics. We continuously conduct international research into important issues currently at play, such as the economy, innovation, transformation and the role of technology.

Statistics

A subscription gives you access to up-to-date information about developments in the finance sector. You will receive recent statistics, analyses, forecasts, current technology trends, cases studies, experiments and new business models.

You will receive information about current trends in the finance sector. The topics will be determined on a monthly basis, so that you’ll receive the most recent knowledge and inspiration.

Important trends in finance

Digital banking
In the future, we’ll use digital platforms for borrowing and saving money. Chatbots and AI will ask questions, find the right answers, and draw conclusions. Our digital financial advisor will always be close by, advising us on how to organise our financial life. Will we still trust our current financials or switch to the likes of Google, Amazon, or Apple?
Digital investments
The wealth management industry is increasingly embracing digitalisation, with robo-advisors and AI-based investing being the most important developments. Robo-investments require little to no human intervention, with services ranging from automatic rebalancing and tax optimisation to long-term investment planning. And wealth managers are already using technology to personalise investor experiences and increase their chances of success.
Cybersecurity and resilience
Banks are the perfect targets for hackers. Stealing biometric data or login details enables criminals to siphon away millions of dollars. But financials are getting increasingly high-tech as well, using smart algorithms to protect our accounts. However, as more and more IoT devices go online, criminals have more points to attack. And quantum computing could make traditional encryption methods useless.
Business models for the digital age
Open banking policies force banks to provide third parties with access to our financial data, enabling startups to develop money-saving apps. Digital platforms also enable you to lend money to others. Welcome to the age of banking-as-a-service! Personalisation will be taken to a whole new level. In the future, the financial needs of customers will be identified and predicted.
Digital insurance
What if you could get insured in 90 seconds? Or have a claim approved by algorithms in three minutes? Digital insurance is getting smarter and impressively efficient. Sensors will soon track our bodies, vehicles, and homes to spot risk factors. Drones will inspect buildings for defects, and data analytics tools will check paperwork to uncover fraudulent claims.
The future of payments
In the future, we will pay with a swipe or a smile. In the background, business systems will automatically carry out all kinds of processes. We will also be able to pay with our self-driving cars or personal wearables. Smart contracts will be finalised as soon as a job is marked ‘complete’ on the blockchain.
